Festival Policies

I. No pets allowed

II. No firearms permitted

III. Alcohol

• No alcohol is permitted outside the festival grounds

• No alcohol can be brought onto church property

• You must be 21 to purchase and consume alcohol

• Proof of ID is required to purchase and consume alcohol

• Any festival worker may request a valid ID at any time

IV. St. John’s reserves the right to ask anyone to leave the premises at any time

V. Checks

• The festival booths are not permitted to cash checks

• An ATM machine will be present on church grounds

• Checks will only be accepted at Major Awards, Silent Auction, and Basket Bonanza

VI. Volunteers

• Per the Office of the General Counsel of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops “The practice of wearing partisan shirts, buttons, posting of signs, etc. by church volunteers performing services at church festivals and other events sponsored by parishes and institutions must be discontinued.” Wearing the shirts endorsing a candidate violated the requirement that parishes must maintain a non partisan atmosphere.
