Mission:  Connecting those blessed with special needs and their families to the faith and the Catholic community.  Include Me is a new special needs ministry at St. Maximilian Kolbe and St. John parishes, and is open to all.  We have 3 primary objectives:  1. Help our loved ones with special needs become more involved in their Catholic faith and/or parish.  2. Help support parents & caregivers in faith-based activities.   3. Help bring families back to church who have fallen away due to special needs issues.    

Care for loved ones with special needs and siblings will be provided with RSVP.

  Our next event will be Sunday June 5th, 7pm when the Living Waters ministry will host a healing service for our families.  Come to be prayed for or just come and watch the holy spirit at work!  All are welcome including non parishioners. 

Mass in the conference room!

 mark your calenders for June 26th!The conference room will be available for our families during noon mass!  Mass will be televised and communion will be brought into the room for those who would rather receive there.  At this time we will not have respite care providers during mass so please plan to have at least one parent stay with your son or daughter.  We plan to offer the conference room several times a month once we have had a few test runs!   This is a great option for those who find the church to much stimulation.

Include Me is planning our 3rd annual fall ½-day retreat for parents and caregivers, plus 3 more quarterly speaker meetings on special needs topics.  St. Max has a Sacrament Preparation Coordinator for loved ones with special needs: Debi LaFrankie.  Debi also helps with RFY and class inclusion strategies.  Call us, join us, help us, let us know what you need from your faith and parish!
