Go Green at St. John!  Care for the earth is not just an Earth Day slogan, it is a requirement of our faith.  We are called to protect people and the planet, living our faith in relationship with all of God’s creation. 

Want to opt out of all of that wasteful junk mail?  It’s easy!  Go to http://epa.ohio.gov/ocapp/consumer/junkmail.aspx and follow the instructions.  Over 100 million trees are used each year to produce junk mail.  Americans receive almost 4 million tons of junk mail every year.  Do your part to stop the waste!

Don’t forget that we have 3 large Paper Retriever recycle bins in the NW corner of our parking lot.  You can put newspapers, magazines, office and school papers, catalogs mail and white envelopes into these bins.  You can’t put cardboard, food wrappers, tissue paper, phone books, plastic or glass into them.
