The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss finally launching the drupal web site. We agreed to make a list of the items we'd like to resolve as soon as possible to support the launch. We are targeting the launch for Sunday, March 25th.

Here's the list of items:

News and Notes need to be moved to the top of the home page

Dan will work on updating the Bulletins and Eagles Wings. He'll make a separate page for the pre-2007 pages. We need to determine how to change the sort order of the attachments. We like to have them if sorted from the most recent attachment to last attachment.

Dan will update the Calendar.

Dan will work with Father Mark and Father Linh to update their sections. We need help from Brett to understand how to upload their pages. He'll also take a look at the Adult Faith Formation pages.

We need help from Brett to understand how to upload Meeting Minutes properly. I tried to upload these minutes, but they are not added to the Web Committee minutes.

Steve will update the Pastoral Council web site per Rose Braun's request.

For the initial launch, we plan to limit the number of users. We'll have anyone needing updates to send there requests to the committee. Steve will send an email this weekend to the people who might need access. Eventually, we'll need a procedure for creating new users and roles.

Hopefully we can complete the tasks and launch the site on March 25th. If there are any other items, please communicate that to the committee. We probably should put a notice in the Bulletin about this too.

The April Web Committee meeting will be on Monday, April 23, 2007 at 7:15 PM in Undercroft E.
